- Description of Collection: Shale Stone Planters are modern representations of how rhythmic layering occurs when fragments of sedimentary rocks are sorted with uniformity of size and shape. Rivers, ocean winds and rain run-off erode and polish the rocks during this natural process. Square and round planters in this collection allow for numerous design placement options. The planters are surface cast molded stones with dark organic Sulfide/Oxide colors. The top lip of the planters are a dark hue matching the background color.
- Construction and Materials: Fiber strands and glass strands combined with binding agents. Exacting uniform shapes and sizes. U.V. and frost resistant. Commercial grade quality.
- Recommended Usage: Interior and Exterior. During severe hard freeze weather, planters should not contain undrained water.
- Planter Drainage: All planters are manufactured (and installed) with one removable threaded rubber drain plug. The plug unscrews for outdoor application.
